This Family business has, since 1895, supplied fine quality men’s fabrics in suitings, luxury cashmere jacketings and overcoatings, and Scottish tweeds and country cloths including all tailor’s trimmings and accessories.
The business is now solely owned by the Dunsford family. James and Mark, the fourth generation, manage the business now and will ensure the family's involvement for years to come.
The company has expanded both nationally and internationally, and has acquired several competitors over the years and in recent times:- Pedersen and Becker - specialists in classic suitings, A L Robinson - specialists in competitive suitings and uniform cloth, Porter and Harding - specialists in fine Scottish tweeds, Harrisons of Edinburgh - top quality suitings, sports tweeds and especially pure cashmere jacketings and coatings.
These acquisitions have enabled the LBD group to offer the tailoring trade world wide, garment manufacturers and wholesalers, one of the most exclusive and comprehensive ranges of men’s cloths available today.
