THE MERINO
Merinos of all types were introduced initially from the Cape Colony to Australia from as early as 1797. Over the centuries the Merino breed has gone on to become the most numerous breed in the world.
Specifically bred for their fine wool fleeces the raw material is bright and white in colour and very soft and luxurious to the touch.
These features alone make this wool prized by Harrisons for making into our very high quality fabrics.
